Supermoon Meteors and 7 More Can’t-Miss Sky Events in December

In a predawn hours of Dec 22, North Americans will see a rise of a teenager annual meteor famous as a Ursa Minorids, or a Ursids. As with all meteor showers, a Ursids are named after a constellation they seem to illuminate from in a sky, in this box Ursa Minor, a small bear. These meteors seem to fire out from a segment of a sky only above a play of a Little Dipper, a obvious star settlement that’s partial of Ursa Minor.
