‘Super moon’ to gleam on Friday

A “super moon” will be manifest on Friday, according to a Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (KHOA).

At a closest, a moon will be about 357,000 kilometers from a earth, creation it a supposed “super moon.” The common normal stretch is 384,400 kilometers.

The final time a moon was as tighten was on Nov. 14, 2016.

The KHOA warned costal residents to take precautions as a super moon is approaching to emanate outrageous tides.

“Although a moon will be physically tighten to a earth, it might not demeanour as large as people design since factors such as atmosphere impact a appearance,” an consultant told Yonhap News Agency.
