case/lang/veirs is a new collaborative manuscript from Neko Case, k.d. lang, and Laura Veirs, due out after this open by ANTI- Records. The 14-track effort, constructed alongside Tucker Martine during Veirs and lang’s Portland homes, was reportedly desirous by “a supermoon, a tumbledown story of 70s thespian Judee Sill, and a ‘best kept secret’ in Silver Lake.”

That LA pleasure is a concentration of a trio’s latest charity “Best Kept Secret”, that perceived a premiere around Lena Dunham’s Lenny Letter newsletter today. From a lively harmonies to a saccharine chorus, it’s a strain that, nonetheless mellow in delivery, seems to be ripping with undisguised glee.

“It was finished in one or dual takes, and it went down super-fast,” lang settled in Lenny Letter. “We were all dancing. It only had so most joy. Then Neko came adult with that ba-da-da ba-da-da ba-da-da ba-da-da. It only kind of unfolded in this unequivocally joyful, celebratory way. we wasn’t a outrageous fan of it in a demo stage. It was kind of straightforward. we was wrong. It tracked unequivocally good and it is super-joyful.”
