For a initial time in 38 years, Santa Claus will have a full moon to light his approach on Christmas.

The Dec full moon, also famous as a “Full Cold Moon” and “Long Nights Moon,” according to a Farmers Almanac, will rise during 6:11 a.m. on Dec. 25.

Appearing for a initial time on Christmas given 1977, a Christmas moon won’t lapse until 2034, NASA told ABC News.
